The Regional Development Agencies are formulated as a peculiar model according to the national needs and the development-oriented local organizational demands, regarding the political, administrative, social and economic conditions of Turkey in addition to the world experience and the European Union Membership.

Çukurova Development Agency with the role of enhancing the local development and activating the endogenous potential, aims to reduce the threats of globalisation while determining the local development strategies to enable the maximum benefits from it. The projects and actions prepared by the local actors in accordance with the Regional Development Strategy will be supported with grants, instead of credits, that are provided by both the national resources and the European Union funds. Thus, the endogenous potential of the region will be activated.

Çukurova Development Agency is one of the bases of the development effort  in Turkey. Agency will aim to induce the charm of the region  and to promote the region in national and international area by activating the endogenous potential of the region; to support the activities related with the production and employment increase; to develop the human resources and to achieve the efficient migration management.

Çukurova Development Agency, supporting the regional strategy, will have the mission of supporting and improving entrepreneurship, the rural and local development and the cooperation between the public and private bodies and the NGO’s. Agency will promote the business and investment opportunities of the region and related with this, the Agency will follow up and finalize the permits and licences of the investment processes. Furthermore, the Agency will facilitate and coordinate the assessment of the EU and international funds; monitore, evaluate and form a database.
